The Office of Continuing and Professional Education will work in partnership with business and industry to understand business goals and the continual learning needs of employees.

To understand professional development needs, UConn can partner with you to complete a learning needs assessment to identify business goals, skill gaps and functional areas for performance improvement. Based on business needs and goals, a determination can be made as to what areas of development are required.

To meet business and workforce development needs, UConn provides faculty resources and expertise to serve as consultants, educators, and trainers to support both employers and employees with programs and courses conceived and developed by leaders in their field.

The Office of Continuing and Professional Education will create the right solution for your needs and your employees. These custom developed programs will support on-the-job demands to ensure employees can apply current experience and skills to new roles to meet external demands of the marketplace and the internal expectations of leaders.
