Register for Courses with Easy Self-registration
Noncredit professional development courses offered by the University of Connecticut are hosted on the Blackboard learning management system with self-registration completed on the Student Information System, Genius.
All professional development courses are promoted through various channels with a link to the UConn Genius catalog page of course offerings. From this page, interested learners can search for courses, click on course titles to learn more, and choose to enroll in the course. Prospective learners select a course or courses, add them to their cart and proceed to checkout, which takes learners to the registration page. After completing the registration page with name and email, and confirming course selection, learners receive an email with login instructions and a temporary password.
Learners can see all information pertaining to their course enrollments and course completion on the Genius learner dashboard.
