Community Outreach

The Office of Continuing and Professional Education was created to provide professional education and workforce solutions to a broader community at a regional and statewide level It supports the commitment, and mission of outreach by the university as a Research 1 Land Grant University. UConn supports the needs of the community through outreach and extension programs that cover a diverse mix of topics directed to individuals in various stages of personal and professional development.

The importance of continuing education has never been greater than today. As we each have adjusted our professional and personal lives in response to a global pandemic, we recognize the value of continual learning for personal engagement and sustenance and for professional growth and support as we maneuver through new working environments.

In partnership with leadership and faculty in all of UConn’s schools and colleges, OCPE will provide opportunities across disciplines to meet the diverse needs of adult learners statewide and nationally.
